The high traffic area of Trafalgar Square is an ideal location to reach a large audience. The installation will depict a Bodega Bay can providing clean drinking water to those in need, with tree sprouts located below to symbolize the collaboration with Ecologi. A QR code will be placed on the base of the installation for passers-by to access more information about the project.
Additionally, location-based text messaging will be utilized to send information about the project and the installation to those in the vicinity of Trafalgar Square. This will prompt those who may not have seen the installation to look for it and learn more about Bodega Bay's commitment to sustainable solutions. The installation will also provide a visual backdrop for social media moments, encouraging others to choose Bodega Bay for the positive impact it brings.
An alternative asset is proposed for the London Underground Tube. Using the handrail pole to mimic a tree, a small speaker will be hidden within the installation to play the sound of trickling water, but only when announcements are not being made. This will create an immersive experience for commuters, reminding them of the importance of clean drinking water. Information and branding will be placed at the base of the pole to provide more information about the partnership with Thirst Project and Ecologi. This innovative approach will help to raise awareness of Bodega Bay's commitment to sustainable solutions and encourage more people to choose Bodega Bay for their beverage needs.
